The park is surrounded by residences, and by the Town Hall (formerly Park School), at the north end.In recent years, commercial development has extended to the Water Valley development, along State Highway 257, near the intersection with Windsor Lake, a small reservoir in the irrigation system of Weld County, is one block north of the BNSF tracks.
